Born in Venice, and raised in Florence and Genoa, I grew up surrounded by art and literature, instilling in me a lifelong passion for culture.

After spending many decades in London, I've recently settled in Brighton, where I continue my work as a freelance writer, researcher and literary translator.

My main topics are history of science, art, and literature, also philosophy and anthropology.
